Dear Bridgewater Residents,

In 2005, the design team noted above began work on the Bridgewater Municipal Complex.  Plans for additions and renovations to this complex had been discussed and debated by Township Officials for over 20 years.  Finally with the new Administration in place and a great design team, this long awaited project was underway.

The 60,000sf Complex will consolidate all administrative, judicial and police functions into one facility . The selected scheme retains and incorporates the historic Green Knoll School, built in 1935.  Contained within the addition extending to the south is a state-of-the-art police and courts facility featuring a large public meeting space capable of seating up to 150 people.

The project was publicly bid in the summer of 2007.  The construction costs came in on budget and the construction began as planned.  The project is roughly 50% through an estimated 26 month construction period and the process in going well.  We are very excited to see the completion of this project that we have been committed to for 3 years.
