The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHSofNJ) is a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk infants, children, youth, and families achieve their potential. They protect abused or neglected women, infants, and children, strengthen families, and strive for stable, permanent, and loving homes. In just 2021, they enriched over 84,000+ lives. Some of CHSofNJ services include: Child Welfare/ Permanency Services, Clinical/Mental Health Behavioral Services, Maternal & Child Health, Family and Community Support, and Early Childhood and Parenting Services. Their mission is for all children to have secure, caring families, good health, and function well cognitively, emotionally, and behaviorally.
USA provided programming and pre-design services for Children’s Home Society of New Jersey to consider location options. Based on our guidance, the pre-selected space was not large enough to accommodate the organization’s growth needs. Therefore, USA expanded their scope of work to include a new site selection. With a new site secured, USA Architects and the CHSofNJ team created a design of the new office for staff and to meet their growing future space needs. In addition, this facility provides room for CHSofNJ’s newest program - Head Start/Early Head Start.
