Sonawalla Center for Global Learning

The Wardlaw-Hartridge School

The existing library has been transformed into a 21st century workspace to address how students learn and interact today. Flexible and adaptable spaces support varied instructional techniques, promote student collaboration, and enhance online and face-to-face communication. The new Center for Global Learning allows spaces where students can work alone in individualized research stations or work cooperatively in different sized groups in either open areas or in smaller, private breakout rooms. A designated mediascape is available for the increasing number of domestic and international interactions with students from other schools.  In addition to limited print materials housed in the stacks, digital research resources, video teleconferencing and streaming facility is available, with the flexibility to include new technologies as they emerge.
