The journey to bring The Landmark to life has been a long but rewarding one. For Dublin Mayor Chris Hayes, who has proudly served the community for the past 24 years, this project represents a promising future for Dublin and creates space for the growing number of people choosing to call the borough home. “As we cut this ribbon, let it be a reminder of what is possible when a community works together with intention, heart, and purpose,” stated Mayor Hayes. 

The property where The Landmark now stands had sat vacant and for sale for over two decades. Determined to revitalize the area, the Mayor and the community worked tirelessly with developers to reimagine what this space could become, while maintaining the sense of close-knit community, with the modern conveniences of today.

It’s remarkable to think that just last August, we were at the groundbreaking ceremony—and now, a little over a year later, the building has officially opened and welcomed residents. USA Architects is proud to have played a role in this transformative project, with our design team consisting of Project Manager Anthony Lauro, Senior Designer Dylan Catino, Senior Designer Melissa Warner, and Interior Designer Michele Licata, working closely with Suburban City Group, Milex Construction, Stonefield Engineering & Design, and Keystone Partners Group to make this vision a reality.

“The design-build approach fostered a highly collaborative and efficient process from concept through completion,” mentions Dylan Catino. “The integrated partnership between the developer and construction manager as shared ownership for the project facilitated clear communication and rapid decision-making. This cohesive team relationship allowed design intent and construction execution to align seamlessly, resulting in a successful project delivered on schedule and meeting the expectations of the clients.”  

Reflecting on the project’s impact, Shelby Labs, 34th District Representative and local native, shared, “It will allow residents to enjoy everything the borough has to offer. The new space lets everyone live, work, and stay connected in the borough.”

The Landmark features two four-story, mixed-use buildings with 78 residential units, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. The ground floor offers 10,000 square feet of retail space, ready to be activated by local businesses. The exterior design balances contemporary gestures, simple form, and traditional detailing to create a building that feels both refined and rooted in its context—combining rustic character with sleek simplicity. Fronting Main Street, the facade features a textured masonry palette in two complementary tones, distinguishing the commercial base from the residential levels above. At the ground floor, a light neutral brick establishes a visually grounded base, while the upper stories transition to a rich, red-toned brick that echoes the local vernacular and integrates seamlessly with the surrounding area.

Inside, modern finishes, contemporary lighting, and soft color palettes create inviting and adaptable amenity spaces for work, recreation, and relaxation. Residents can enjoy a suite of amenities—from a rooftop terrace with firepits, grills, and a kitchenette to a fitness center, entertainment lounge, pet spa, and even a golf simulator.

“Each residential unit was designed with an open-concept layout centered around a full-size galley kitchen and functional island, promoting connectivity and ease of use,” remarks Dylan. Large windows and doors flood interiors with natural light, enhancing comfort and well-being while creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Most units include private balconies or Juliet balconies that extend living space outdoors and provide natural ventilation. Generously sized bedrooms, bathrooms, and walk-in closets offer residents ample personal space, while the building’s abundant interior and exterior amenity areas provide opportunities for social connection, relaxation, and recreation. Together, these elements establish a modern, comfortable, and highly livable environment for every resident. 

With strong interest from prospective renters before it even opened its doors, the Landmark at Dublin is already becoming the home of a growing, vibrant new community and is transforming the borough's town center.
