Creating a connection between the middle and upper school students was a primary design goal. A glass-enclosed passageway allows students to travel daily to eat lunch, attend art, music and gym classes.
The building features 18 classrooms, four science labs with prep rooms, and a large dynamic commons space at the center, embracing diversified activities. The commons space is naturally lit, through two large circular clerestory windows.
The interior is a fun, vibrant space open to many possibilities. The exterior materials and design of the building reflect the long-lived history and prestigious reputation of the Pingry School.
