While already having success holding high-end receptions and corporate meetings at the Inn at Lambertville Station, the owners saw an opportunity to expand and renovate their existing banquet facilities, as well as provide additional amenities to their guests.
USA Architects was hired to design the 1,800 sf foot addition, which includes a prefunction area and chapel on the ground floor, additional floor space in their existing banquet room, and a luxury bridal suite. To tie the spaces together, a glass-enclosed spiral staircase and additional elevator were added, creating a contemporary companion to the historic Inn.
Situated on the banks of the Delaware River, floor-to-ceiling windows give the guests of the banquet facility, as well as the bridal suite, a gorgeous view of the scenery. The new banquet room increased its existing capacity of 140 to 200 guests.
Great care was taken to complement the existing building, mimicking the stucco base and continuing it around the expansion. Because of the high-end nature of the establishment, USA worked closely with the owners to provide only the best finishes, fixtures and equipment, truly creating a destination banquet facility.
FEMA regulations determined much of how this site was developed.
